Sun Room Extension and Renovation, Bishopstown

Extension and Renovation This project started on Monday the 2nd of July, 2012, and is being filmed as part of the RTE series " Room to improve". Architect Dermot Bannon has designed a contemporary single storey extension with large areas of glazing leading out to the rear garden. The back wall of the existing house has been completely demolished, so that the rear of the house will be one large kitchem/living area.

The structure is being heavily insulated and carefully detailed, to ensure a warm comfortable living space.

Currently (3rd August) the main structure is complete, roof on, waiting for glazing to be fitted.
